Dental Emergencies

Pain or injury involving the teeth or gums should be professionally evaluated as soon as possible. However, it is never a good idea to procrastinate having any dental problem evaluated just because it does not hurt. Leaving a dental issue untreated can result in irreversible damage and can require more extensive and costly dental treatment to restore functionality and oral health.

Toothache

It is always best to treat tooth decay as early as possible to avoid pain and treatment that is more invasive, as well as more costly. If too much of the tooth is destroyed, it may require extraction.
